Originally founded as Bogle Financial Planning, the company provided financial planning services to households and individuals around the Greater Toronto Area. The eventually entered the investment advising market-- providing capital and wealth management services-- though regulatory barriers to entry influenced the firm to pivot to a Software-as-a-Service, instead of its original Human-as-a-Service.
Financial Services is a deeply regulated market, and as a new business seeking to provide objective, economic, and scalable capital management and planning advice to households, the firm felt most encouraged to leverage software algorithms to deliver the same financial advice as human services.
We worked to distill parts of the human financial planning process into a series of steps-- also known as an algorithm in Computer Science. Building an intuiting UI (User Interface) for the customer to use, we seeked to leverage this algorithm to deliver objective, economical, and scalable financial planning services to Canadians.
The Bogle Consulting Group was founded by the same owner of Shannon Technologies, and was funded and operated as a venture-based subsidary of Shannon Technologies.
